This is another short story I wrote for a writing contest many years ago. It is written in that old Hollywood style where guns never ran empty and everyone shooting out our hero can't seem to hit a darn thing, and our hero can't miss. However, it may seem corny when you first start reading it, there is a reason for that, so keep reading it to find out why. It'll prove worth it.
